Palliative Care is care which do to patient suffering from chronic illness in high stadium with purposed to increase quality of life of patient. This care can do how to approach from psychological side, psychosocial, mental, as well as the patient’s spiritual.

Prof. Dr. Marlina Setiawati Mahajudin, Sp. KJ(K), PGD Pall. Med. (ECU) explain more that matter, in International Seminar by theme “Caring for Palliative Needs : Current Approaches for Psycho-oncology” which held by major of Psychology, Social and Political Science Faculty, University of Brawijaya (FISIP UB) on Tuesday (03/07/18). She explained that Palliative care very needed, so that patient can more quiet, happy, and comfortable when treatment.

Located in Auditorium Nuswantara FISIP UB, Marlina also convey positive messages to all audience. “Add Live to Years, not Years to Live, aim of our life should not only have long life, but also make us of age usefulness for others”. She said in interval of event. (Lita/Humas FISIP)
