VISION

Become a study program with international standards and entrepreneurial spirit to develop contemporary communication studies with local perspectives and be able to play an active role in nation-building through the process of education, research, and community service by prioritizing professionalism

MISSION

The mission is an effort related to determining the policy direction (policy plan) in the fields of education and teaching (education activity), research, and community service to realize the achievement vision of the Bachelor of Communication Science study program. The following is an explanation of the mission of the Bachelor of Communication Science study program.

1. Improving the quality of human resources (HR) namely, lecturers, administrative staff, and other support staff on an ongoing basis with a structured and systematic program, to improve professionalism
2. Developing an international standard curriculum based on competencies in studies contemporary communication with a local perspective
3. Conduct periodic and comprehensive evaluations of the Teaching and Learning Process to meet the department’s competency standards
4. Developing research-based on local perspectives to produce studies of contemporary communication that are beneficial to knowledge science.
5. Developing emancipatory and participatory community service activities in efforts to build a nation,
6. Strengthening and developing communication science institutional networks at the national and international levels.
7. Ensuring the availability of facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of a competency-based international standard curriculum.

MISION

Missions are related effortspolicy plan) di bidang pendidikan dan pengajaran (education activity), penelitian (research), dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (community service) untuk mewujudkan pencapaian (achiavement) visi program studi S1 Ilmu Komunikasi. Berikut paparan misi program studi S1 Ilmu Komunikasi.

1. Improve the quality of human resources (HR), namely, lecturers, administrative staff, and other support staff on an ongoing basis with a structured and systematic program, to improve professionalism.
2. Develop a competency-based international standard curriculum in contemporary communication studies with a local perspective.
3. Conduct periodic and comprehensive evaluations of the Teaching and Learning Process (TLP) to meet the department's competency standards.
4. Develop research based on local perspectives to produce contemporary communication studies that are useful for science.
5. Develop emancipatory and participatory community service activities in nation building efforts.
6. Strengthen and develop communication science institutional networks at the national and international levels.
7. Ensure the availability of facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of a competency-based international standard curriculum.
